PG&E is inviting customers to their Holiday Light Exchange event this week.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22nd, customers can swap out their old, inefficient indoor holiday lights for free LED holiday lights.
They can trade in their holiday light strands for up to three 15 feet LED holiday light strands, while supplies last.
The event will be held at the Northwest Bakersfield Home Depot , located in the Northwest Promenade at 8700 Rosedale Highway.
PG&E officials are encouraging customers to exchange their older lights for LEDs because they are safer, sturdier and cheaper.
