PG&E working on restoring power to 1693 Lamont residents after outage

UPDATE (Nov. 20, 6:11 p.m.): PG&E reported the outage has been nearly completely restored, after more than 1600 people lost power Monday night.

More than 1600 people in Lamont currently have no power, according to Pacific Gas and Electric. 

PG&E reported 1693 residents lost power at 5:35 p.m. Monday night.

The outage includes a portion of Main Street, south of Panama Lane and north of Di Giorgio Road.

A crew is working on assessing what caused the outage. Power is expected to be restored at 9 p.m.
