Police in Cobb County are searching for a man they say opened fire inside a health facility Wednesday afternoon.

Information from Cobb County Police:

• Man walked into Ridgeview Institute on S. Cobb Drive in Smyrna.
• Staff did not know the man had a gun.
• The man got into a scuffle with the staff and started firing.
• At this time, there don’t appear to be any injuries.
• The man ran away into a nearby neighborhood, where police are actively searching for him.
• The suspect is an African-American man in his late 20s. He’s bald, has a full beard and a tattoo on his neck.
