Police in Cobb County are searching for a man they say opened fire inside a health facility Wednesday afternoon.
Information from Cobb County Police:
- Man walked into Ridgeview Institute on S. Cobb Drive in Smyrna.
- Staff did not know the man had a gun.
- The man got into a scuffle with the staff and started firing.
- At this time, there don’t appear to be any injuries.
- The man ran away into a nearby neighborhood, where police are actively searching for him.
- The suspect is an African-American man in his late 20s. He’s bald, has a full beard and a tattoo on his neck.
