Bakersfield police are looking for a suspect wanted for attempting to forcibly remove a necklace from a victim’s neck in Southwest Bakersfield.

On Sunday, October 30 around 6:10 p.m. a suspect attempted robbery in the parking lot of the Shell gas station at 4815 Panama Lane.

The suspect was unsuccessful and fled the scene in a vehicle described as a silver sedan, possibly a 4-door Lexus with a sunroof.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, 5’5”, and 130 pounds.
