A power outage was reported in Northeast Bakersfield around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Almost 2,300 people are without power. The City of the Hills and Rio Bravo communities are affected.
The cause of the outage is unknown but PG&E is investigating the cause.
The time of restoration is currently unknown.
