BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is gearing up to hold a forum on homelessness at the Bakersfield Chamber of Commerce Wednesday at noon.

Congressman McCarthy will hold a forum focusing on homelessness in the community. Several organizations and city leaders will be in attendance, including Mayor Karen Goh and the California Department of Housing and Community Development.

The forum is not open to the public.

A press conference will follow the forum.
