In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Chief of Ridgecrest Police Department has authorized a new police patch for the month of October. RFD will be selling the pink patches to the public as a fundraiser. According to a post on the Ridgecrest Police Department Facebook page, they will be doing something special with the money.

All of the proceeds will be donated to the family of 5-year-old Kylea Chance who is battling leukemia, to help make their day and finances a little brighter.

The patches can be picked up at the Ridgecrest Police Department and are $20 each.
