Drivers in northwest Bakersfield will soon be able to travel easier. 

Kern County Public Works crews will be repairing asphalt and digging on several streets to repair them from now until December.

Crews will work on streets from Rosedale Highway to Palm Avenue and Old Farm Road to Calloway Drive. 

The work is scheduled for Monday through Friday for 45 business days.
