San Joaquin Community Hospital (SJCH), which will be known as Adventist Health Bakersfield, in partnership with One Legacy and JJ's Legacy held a kick-off event Friday to recognize National Donate Life Month.

National Donate Life Month is a way for communities to encourage Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and to celebrate those that have saved lives through the gift of donation.

SJCH is teaming up with our local organ donation agencies to encourage everyone to get the pink donor dot on their driver licenses.
