Sangera Subaru’s annual “Share the Love” campaign raised over $35,000 for the 2016 local charity “NOR Recreation and Park District, Meals on Wheels”.
The campaign ran from November 20, 2016 to January 3, 2017 and raised over $10,000 more than the 2015 donation.
During the campaign, customers who buy a new vehicle could indicate which charity to make a $250 donation to.
There were four national charities and one local charity to choose from.
In the past eight years of the annual event, Subaru has donated over 65 million dollars to charity.
A formal presentation of the money donated was held Wednesday.
