A man involved in a Central Bakersfield homicide in November 2016 appeared in court Wednesday.
Victor Callo-Sanchez was arrested in connection with the death of 40-year-old Enrique Suarez.
Callo pled no contest to voluntary manslaughter, and the of first degree murder was dropped.
His sentencing is scheduled for May 3.
