The Shafter Lions Club held their first annual Christmas Parade Tuesday in Downtown Shafter.

The parade started at James Street and California Avenue.

After the parade, there was a Christmas tree lighting ceremony and Christmas caroling from different community groups.

The Shafter Boxing Club and the Shafter Cub Scouts also sold beverages and sweets.
