On Tuesday, November 8, around 3:37 p.m., the Shafter Police Department received a report of indecent exposure near Minter Avenue, north of Lerdo Highway.

A female juvenile reported that while she was walking alone, the unknown suspect drove past her two times. The second time, the victim noticed he had his genitals exposed. He then exited the vehicle, grabbed the victim's arm and told her to come with him.

An unidentified witness observed the incident and yelled at the suspect. The suspect then let go of the victim and fled in his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid-twenties, 5'6" tall and around 160 pounds. He also has a short beard with no mustache. The suspect was wearing a black beanie with a red, white and blue insignia, white shirt and grey shorts.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a newer model four-door sedan similar to a Honda with a partial plate beginning with "6T".

This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Shafter Police Department at (661) 746-8500.
