MERCED, Calif. — Basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal was recently spotted in the Central Valley.
A post on the Merced CHP's Facebook page shows he took a photo with one of their officers using his "selfie arms."
The image was uploaded on Tuesday with the following caption:
It’s not everyday we run into a 7’1” first ballot Hall of Fame NBA basketball player. One of our officers happened to be getting gas when he observed Shaquille O' Neal walking by. Our officer graciously asked for a photo and Mr. O’Neal obliged, even offering to use his “selfie arms” to take the photo.
Comments under that same post revealed O'Neal was apparently also seen near the Firebaugh area in Fresno County.
