The 25th annual Shoes For The Homeless Shoe Drive benefiting the Bakersfield Homeless Center started Thursday.
The shoe drive has netted nearly 70,000 pairs of shoes in the past 24 years.
Galbraith North America will donate their services to load and transport the shoes to the Bakersfield Homeless Center.
Gently used shoes can be donated to the Guarantee Shoe Center at 2101 Chester Avenue.
Guarantee Shoe Center is locally owned and operated and this year marks their 63th year in business.
