There is the possibility of some public safety power shutoffs in Kern County.

More than 14,500 SoCal Edison customers in Bear Valley Springs, Tehachapi, and Keene are currently facing the possibility of an outage. Right now all customers in this area still have their power.

PG&E also issued warnings to its customers. The utility says outages could come Thursday morning.
