Some students in the Santa Barbara County may be able to go to college for free in the fall.
The Santa Barbara City College Foundation has released a plan titled “College Promise.”
It plans to cover free tuition and books for up to two years.
The money would come from personal donations and foundations and is expected to be in place this upcoming fall.
