TAFT, Calif. — A Taft man is in jail after deputies say they discovered a large amount of drugs and counterfeit money during a routine probation search.
According to Kern County Sheriff’s Office, officials searched 47-year-old Michael Trickey's home on Pierce Street. That's when they reportedly discovered suspected methamphetamine, steroids, drug paraphernalia, narcotic pills, and items used to produce counterfeit money. Deputies, also found numerous items suspected to be stolen.
Trickey was arrested and booked into the Taft Jail on various drug related and counterfeit charges.
