Kern County Fire was called out to a warehouse in Oildale after a tank caught on fire.
Around 7:30 a.m. KCFD received a call for a fire in the Fortune Metal, Inc. of RI plant located on Quinn Road in Oildale. According to KCFD, a tank connected to a forklift in the recycling area caught fire. It only took KCFD a few minutes to put the fire out.
No firefighters or employees were injured. Employees are being sent home for the day.
