The Tarina Homes, Inc. has entered into a deal for naming rights of the Mesa Marin Sports Complex in northeast Bakersfield. 

The City of Bakersfield and Tarina Homes, Inc. have entered into a multi-year naming rights agreement for the sports complex which is located at State Route 178 and Bedford Green Drive. 

The complex will now be known as Tarina Homes Sports Complex at Mesa Marin. 

According to a post on the City of Bakersfield Facebook page, "under the terms of the agreement, Tarina Homes will commit $200,000 over a three year period for improvements at the facility.

"Currently, the sports complex contains four premier softball fields that hosts year-round adult softball leagues, as well as local, regional, statewide and national tournaments.

"Additional amenities are currently under construction, including playground areas, spray park, picnic shelters, restrooms and wide walking paths. Future phases will feature four additional softball fields, soccer fields, multi-use fields and a skate park."
