TEHACHAPI, Calif. — Tonight (June 14) the Tehachapi Area Boy Scouts of America will be hosting a flag retirement ceremony.

The community is invited to join them for a patriotic flag day as they properly retire American flags. Guest will be able to enjoy music, displays and demonstrations. And there will also be a D-Day reenactment, F-18 flyover, and KCFD hero will fly in with new flags plus the retirement of hundreds of flags.

The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m. at Coy Burnett Stadium in Tehachapi and this event is free and open to the public
