TEHACHAPI, Calif. — From earthquakes to wildfires, Kern County is no stranger to emergencies.

Those in our mountain communities are very familiar with the dangers that surround them.

On Wednesday, residents in Tehachapi will have a chance to get some safety tips from the city's police department and the Kern County Fire Department.

The seminar will be start at 6:30 p.m. at the Tehachapi Police Department.
