Officials with The Employers' Training Resource Program (ETR) said they recently received a national dislocated worker grant funding through the California Employment Development to provide temporary employment opportunities to individuals impacted by the drought.
Officials said they are currently looking to fill jobs for the following positions:
- Groundskeepers
- Maintenance Workers
- Building Maintenance Workers
- Road Maintenance Workers
- Mower Repair Technicians
- Plumbers and many more are being developed
Temporary Jobs Program Information. Please share if you know someone that has been unemployed for 27 weeks or longer and/or have lost their job due to the drought.
