If you've visited Valley Plaza Mall recently you've most likely seen and heard the construction where the old Sears Automotive was located, and if you're a food lover this might be some good news for you.
Both Texas Roadhouse and Blaze Pizza have submitted sign plans for the old Sears Automotive location, according to the City of Bakersfield Community Development Department.
It is unknown as to when the restaurants would open if they do take the place of the Sears Automotive.
