BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The entrance to the Bakersfield Police Department has returned to normal, as the last of the damage from the protests has been repaired.
Some of the letters were removed by a protester.
This morning, it was put back in place.
The BPD told 23ABC last week that they had received the letters and were waiting to put them back up.
Thursday night, we spotted the replacement letters being put into place.
Right now it's not known if the man seen tearing off the letters was ever caught.
