BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Alta Sierra is home to many families during the winter months, and just last night they received 10 inches of snow fall. This has prompted mountain owners to say that they expect to be able to open the resort soon if the snow sticks around.
With the possibility of the resort opening soon, lift prices range from $50 for a full day for adults 13 years and older to $40 for a half day. The full day lifts run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. for half days.
For the tube park, the cost is $30 a person for a two hour session and includes a tube! The hours of operation run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday's and Sunday's.
