A plumber was injured when she jumped out of the way of a falling tree in Northwest Bakersfield.
Laurie, the homeowner, had called to have work done on a pipeline in her front lawn when she heard a crack and looked out the window to see the tree starting to topple over. The tree fell onto the company vehicle, missing the plumber.
The plumber was then taken to the hospital after she reported having ankle and back pain.
It's unclear at this time what her status is.
