Two men were arrested for a stolen gun, conspiracy and gang related charges.
It happened around 7:20 p.m. Saturday night when Bakersfield police responded for a peace disturbance involving a man with a gun in the 3300 block of Palm Street.
Officers found two men walking away from a vehicle. 28-year-old Keiwan Washington resisted arrest and physically assaulted an officer.
During a search of the vehicle, officers found a loaded, stolen gun.
Washington and 34-year-old Christopher Johnson of Los Angeles were taken into custody.
