Two men are behind bars Wednesday morning after a traffic stop in Central Bakersfield ends with police finding a stolen gun.
The stop happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday night near the area of west Columbus street and Jewett avenue.
The men, 27-year old Jaren Asberry and 25-year-old Larry Thomas, were found with a loaded stolen gun and both were arrested.
Asberry faces closes to a dozen felony charges including conspiracy, possession of stolen property, gun and gang related charges.
Thomas faces similar charges.
Both are being held on half a million dollar bail and are expected to be in court before the end of the week.
