On November 1, 2017 investigators from the Kern County Auto Theft Task Force (KernCATT) noticed a golden Toyota Camry being driven by two people identified as Edwardo Rodriguez, and Nicole Renee Poczik. 

The investigators stopped the car near Mohawk St. and Rosedale Hwy. They were then able to determine the car was stolen and both Rodriguez and Poczik were arrested. Investigators also found two handguns inside of the car as well as a large amount of illegal drugs.

Both were arrested for the stolen car, possession of the handguns and possession of the illegal drugs for sale.

KernCATT would like to remind the public to remain vigilant against car thiefs, and report any suspicious activity to the police.
