The Bakersfield Police Department says that a woman was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of prostitution at a Bakersfield massage parlor.
53-year-old Ying-Chun Lou was arrested by detectives at the Gold Massage Parlor on Oak Street.
BPD says an undercover operation was conducted in response to a sexual battery complaint alleged by an adult male patron who was at the business days earlier.
Code Enforcement and Fire Prevention personnel responded to the scene and deemed the building unsafe do to fire hazards and unpermitted upgrades to the business.
The business will be closed for an unspecified period of time.
