The first urgent care and psychiatric service clinic is coming to the City of California City.

Cal City Urgent Care and Inland Psychiatric partnered with the Kern County Health Care District. A lease for a clinic on Bay Avenue was signed on October 5.

The Psychiatric Services Clinic will open in late February 2018 and operate Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Cal City Urgent Care will also open February 2018 and operate Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Both will have staff certified physicians and offer lab and x-ray services.
