The small town of Trona was hit with a magnitude 2.9 earthquake Thursday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck the San Bernardino County town at about 5:20 a.m.

Trona is near Ridgecrest, where maginitude 6.4 and 7.1 quakes struck in July.

No damage has been reported in the Trona earthquake.
