A vehicle crashed into a power pole in Arvin Friday night leaving live wires in the roadway. The accident happened near Meyer St. and Schipper Ave. 

There is also a power outage near the area of the power pole crash, however, it has not been confirmed as to whether the crash was the cause of the outage. 

The power outage is currently affecting nearly 300 PG&E customers and power is estimated to be restored by 12:30 a.m.
