BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Wasco Sheriff's Activities League youth rescued a girl from potentially drowning over the weekend at the Wild Water Adventures Park in Clovis.
The Wasco SAL program serves around 120 teens from the local community. According to KCSO, several Wasco SAL kids heard a girl yelling for help in the wave pool at Wild Water Adventures. The kids immediately took action to rescue her.
KCSO released this statement:
"KCSO is very proud of the involved members of Wasco SAL. They are Hailey Medrano, Jaime Fernandez, Leila Adams, Hailey Adams and Monique Rodriguez. We appreciate their selflessness and heroism to rescue another in need."
