Posted

The Tehachapi Police Department will be putting on an Emergency Preparedness Community Presentation today, Thursday October 19, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tehachapi Police Department Community Room.

The presentation is being put on in order to further inform the community about events like  wildfires, mudslides, heavy snowfall, and other emergency events that have struck Tehachapi in the past.

The Tehachapi Police Department will have members of the Red Cross, Kern County Fire Department, CERT, and the City of Tehachapi as guests to give tips to the community on how to best be prepared for these kinds of events.
