Republican women in Bakersfield hosted their first ever Republican Round up to raise money and give the community a chance to meet their Republican candidates.

The event was organized by the Bakersfield Republican Women Federation. Each candidate set up tables on the Crystal Palace dance floor where they had the chance to mingle with potential supporters.

A table was also set up for presidential candidate Donald trump. The women reacted to his recent comments about women creating outrage nationwide.

The women at tonight’s event say they were offended by his comments but promised to vote for Trump for the sake of the republican party and what it stands for.

The candidates also gave supporters campaign signs so they could put them outside of their homes or businesses. Election day is on November 8th.
