A Labor Day rally and march are scheduled to happen today in Bakersfield at 10:30 a.m along Truxtun Ave.
The march is happening in support of not only worker rights, but also raising the minimum wage and supporting the right to join unions.
Both a breakfast and a rally will be held before the march at 8 a.m outside of the Central Labor Hall, which is located at 200 West Jeffrey Street.
