Measure L would provide $110 million to the McFarland Unified School District.
$100 million would be used to purchase land and build a new high school.
The current high school would become a junior high and the current junior high would become a 4th through 6th grade school.
The rest of the money would be used for a list of maintenance projects.
The measure would cost taxpayers an estimated $240 a year per $100,000 of assessed property value.
The bond needs two thirds of votes to pass. Election day is November 8.
