An unwelcome visitor scared the daylights out of a couple taking a nighttime swim at a Zimbabwe resort.

A security camera at the resort captured the moment a crocodile jumps into the water, surprising a man and a woman relaxing in the pool. It was uploaded to YouTube by user Zimbo88, UPI reports.

The man quickly climbs out of the pool while the woman, who was apparently bitten a few times and suffered minor injuries, becomes cornered by the reptile. The man returns to the woman’s aid, distracting the crocodile from the rear.

Eventually, the woman is able to escape from the pool while the crocodile continues to swim around.

The dramatic video has racked up over 1 million views on YouTube in just a few days.
