Wiping the hard drive isn't just for computers anymore

If you've ever sold a cell phone or computer you probably thought to wipe the hard drive first to protect your privacy. Now cybersecurity experts say we should be doing the same for our cars.

Many cars now include features that store personal information like addresses, wi-fi passwords, phone numbers, and e-mails. Security researchers say there have been cases where previous owners forgot to clear the information and the new owner was able to access it.

They also want to remind people to wipe this information when you rent a car as well.
