Zika has started to take a small foothold in Florida.

As of Tuesday morning, 14 people have been infected in Miami from what mosquito bites the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention believe are local. 

But how can you stay protected from bites. For people who do not live in areas impacted by Zika, mosquito bites still can be annoying, itchy and lead to disease.
