City Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott says paramedics are evaluating whether anyone was injured in the incident reported around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday southeast of downtown. Scott says the situation is static.
He didn't know how many people are on the bus.
Television images showed an occupant sitting calmly in the bus, which was stopped nearly parallel to the tracks. The crossing arm is bent and sticking through the bus.
