SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of California and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) are holding an active shooter training for several houses of worship in Sacramento.

The training comes as a response to the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh on October 27. The training will teach participants how to be better prepared, different reaction options, and law enforcement responses to active shooters.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, over 100 faith leaders are expected to attend today's presentation.
