Suspicious packages containing bombs target CNN, Clintons and Obamas

Several devices were found Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in what appears to be targeted attacks that authorities say may be related. 

One of those devices discovered in the CNN mailroom, causing the entire Time Warner Center to evacuate. 

The package with the small pipe bob that had wires extending from it was addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan. 

Police officials say the package appears similar to ones sent to the home of Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Obamas in D.C., discovered this morning and the one sent to the home of billionaire George Soros two days ago. 

House Majority Leader and local Congressman Kevin McCarthy weighing in on twitter and condemning the attacks.

"Our country stands united in the face of attempted terrorism targeting President Obama, Secretary Clinton and CNN. Rest assured law enforcement will hunt down the criminals who did this and bring them to justice."

Local Congressman David Valadao reacting on twitter as well saying, "such despicable actions have no place in our democracy and will not be tolerated."

Multiple agencies are investigating the attempted attacks.
