Gas in Bakersfield continues to drop, following a national trend.

According to GasBuddy.com, gas prices in Bakersfield have dropped 11.3 cents per gallon in the last week. Right now, the average prices of regular gas is $3.44 per gallon.

That decline is better than the national average, which has seen gas prices drop 2.7 cents in that same stretch.

Still, Bakersfield's average is more than a dollar above the national average per gallon. That mark is $2.41 per gallon.
