The CSUB men's soccer team defeated No. 7 Air Force today.

The final score was 1-0. According to CSUB's The Runner, this is the highest ranked opponent CSUB has defeated in school history.

Entering the match, CSUB was 3-16-2 against ranked opponent with the last victory against a ranked team coming against No. 19 UC Riverside on September 23, 2012. The last home win over a ranked team was against No. 8 UC Santa Barbara on September 1, 2010. 

The winning goal came from Ryan Goldsmith who hit the ball off the left post in the 17th minute of the game.

The Roadrunners will remain at home on Sunday where they will host Utah Valley University at 1 p.m.
