VIDEO: Why Jaguars are making Packers wear green on the road in 90-plus degree heat

On Sunday, the Green Bay Packers will open their 2016 season in hot Jacksonville. Very. Hot. Jacksonville.

Milwaukee-based WTMJ 4 meteorologist Jesse Ritka forecasts a high of 92 degrees and sun at kickoff for the Packers-Jaguars game - the hottest kickoff temperature for any Packers regular season game since 2003.

With the Jaguars knowing the heat and sun are coming, what do they do? Get the home jersey advantage, and wear white - a color that won't make them as hot. The Packers are forced to wear their dark green uniforms, normally at home, for this warmest of road games.

Milwaukee-based WTMJ 4 meteorologist Jesse Ritka shows why that could make the Jaguars feel up to 20 degrees cooler than their counterparts from the north...and the advantage the Packers will have to overcome.
