The Better Trade Market in east Bakersfield has reopened with a C grade, after failing their previous health inspection with a score of 57 percent.
The inspector previously observed vermin droppings on shelves, expired food containers and accumulation of vermin feces underneath shelving on the floor. There was also multiple generations of roaches found in the vacant meat department.
A Super Taco in south Bakersfield has failed its health inspection with a score of 69 percent.
This inspector observed three live cockroaches in the back storage area and several dead cockroaches throughout the facility. The facility was also using ice to maintain food temperature because the prep fridge appeared to not be working.
