The U.S. Forest Service has released a Cedar Fire air quality report for August 22 and August 23.

Kernville had the worst air quality at an “unhealthy” level. People in sensitive groups should avoid all physical outdoor activity. Everyone else should avoid prolonged or heavy outdoor exertion.

The areas of Johnsondale, Glennville, Camp Nelson, Porterville, Visalia, Three Rivers, Bakersfield, Mojave, and Kennedy Meadows are “moderate” on the air quality outlook, meaning sensitive individuals should consider limiting prolonged or heavy exertion.
